bedroom socialite

the world in which we live is pretty freakin’ cool. i know this because right now as i write this the top right hand corner of my screen is showing a surfing video, the speakers are pumping out tunes, i’m writing an email to a friend in newfoundland whilst reading updates from canada, chatting with a friend from england and looking at almost-baby photos from switzerland. and i’ve just organised a transcontinental drinking game.

all this whilst lying on a bed under a fan on a farm in the middle of the greenest green and the chirpiest noisiest crickets i’ve heard in a while somewhere where a mobile phone is nothing more than a useless sub par plastic paperweight.

i like this world. i’ll like it even more when tomorrow morning when i’m doing surfing rather than just watching it. yay.
