a fine night out in bear town

humble pie bear
sitting at the lights jovially gunning betsy’s 50CCs and grinning like a madman, i suddenly found myself in the midst of absolute fun. because life’s strange like that…you can be sick and goob ridden; but put in a good solid day’s work at something you’re passionate about and then share a laugh and a beer with people you love and it dawns on you that life is all about that. feeling good, and making other people feel good. having a surf every weekend it becomes your own private religion. shouting a round at the bar. it’s all cliché but the truth is it’s great. and i’m a damn lucky guy for seeing so much of it.

apologies for having not written in ages…the new house doesn’t have the internet (well until now when I worked out that if I stand the computer on a bar stool on the ironing board in the centre of the living room near the window and then i can see the open wireless network from goodness-knows-where and get 1.5bytes per second out the door…) and the weekends have been strangely busy with music festivals and the rigmorole of (awesome) daily life in your own house.

hi to all. yes, i do have clean underwear and there is food in the fridge.

that makes me pretty alright, i reckon.

bear hugs all ’round
