the curious incident of the dog in the night-time (mark haddon)

i really wanted to love this book because so many people told me good things about it. which perhaps, in the end, killed it for me.

it is a good book, and i enjoyed reading it; i just never got absorbed into it. which perhaps is the point…it is a book about detachment in a way. still, a good light read with some genuine funny bits. probably one to go onto my ‘read again’ pile…
