hot fuzz

it’s been a good start to the weekend. i know this because after 1.5 days i’ve already managed to revert my sleeping patterns back to the ill gotten nocturnal days of yore.

friday night i flew back into brisneyland after a lengthy engagement south of the border. after a quick greet of the parental units, i hopped on betsy and headed over to jay & rachie’s, who had me cheery eyed (and bleary eyed) in next to no time. a belly full of gin and burritos with a smattering of scratch pad and wii tennis saw me hit the hay at about 3am happy time. i got up today with the good intentions of cleaning my room and it just didn’t happen. my 20 minute powernap at midday turned into a 4 hour sleep fest. well deserved tho.

i arose and headed over to the dro to catch up with some of the guys to see ‘hot fuzz’…a bloody awesome followup from the guys who made ’shaun of the dead’. jolly good. see it.

a pint and a laugh later i headed home, and i’ve been here watching battlestar gallactica ever since. joy!

now i find myself unable to fall asleep, and as such i’m lying here waiting for an email, a website; anything that will trip up the pattern and send me into dreamland…come on sleepytime!!

i should really learn to not drink caffiene after 3pm…….goodnight (hopefully!)
