Rabbit Season…Duck Season…Ra…

Well, it’s that time of the year again - grab your flannie pjs, your favourite coding mug and find your favourite spot for a screen tan because once again it’s programming season.

Yes I know I have been slack with posts. I also know that the last two I tried to post crashed. So I’m taking that as a sign. Furthermore, I am wearing a hood, and that devoids all else.

Let me give you a piece of advice - don’t ever, regardless of how ‘good’ an idea it may seem to be at first, sign yourself up for more work. I currently have something like 47 contact hours a week including uni, work, coaching and tutoring, and that’s even before I factor in the actual study and tutor prep I have to do. Eeek. Let me figure this out…168 hours in a week right…with a conservative 7 hours sleep a night @ 49 for the week, 1 1/2 hours transport each day (10.5) and 2 hours eating /food preparation each day (14 hours), minus tute prep (5 hours) , plus some extra travel leaves me about 40 hours or less each week to study for all my subjects, and fit in spare time and time to clean my teeth and shower. Hmmm…not happy about THAT arrangement I can tell you I can also tell you that Jane’s not that happy about it either!!!

Oh well…I’m assuming Sweden will be worth it………won’t it?
